Simon F. Nørrelykke

Simon is Director of IMAGING@EPFL, a cross-disciplinary initiative supporting all five EPFL schools with expertise in image analysis and computational methods. The platform advises on the full imaging pipeline—from acquisition strategies and appropriate technologies to data analysis—and collaborates with industry and academic partners.

He previously worked at Harvard Medical School (2022–2025), where he founded the Image Analysis Collaboratory (IAC). Prior to that, he was at ETH Zurich (2012–2022), where he founded the Image and Data Analysis (IDA) group within ScopeM, co-founded ZIDAS, and founded SwissBIAS.
