Antony Carrard
Bioimage analyst @ University of Lausanne
My name is Antony Carrard, I provide bioimage analysis support for the Faculty of Biology and Medicine (FBM) at the University of Lausanne (UNIL). I help researchers extract numbers from their data, which ranges from microscopic images to animal behavior video analysis. I also provide support with image acquisition and hardware selection. You can find out more about my role on my official support page.
I hold a bachelor’s in electrical engineering and a master’s in data science, with a thesis on extracting bone surfaces from ultrasound images at UniGe. I then worked as a software developer in the automation industry, building custom solutions for vision quality control. I joined UNIL to explore further research projects in the biomedical field.
